Custom Orders- Start to Finish

It's been a while since our last post... our shop has been keeping us pretty busy. Over the past few months we've had a lot of custom order requests, thank you to all of our customers. We thought it would be fun to show you some of the process of what we do from start to finish.

The beginning...
All of our leather comes in a whole skin about 12-18 ft with awesome raw edges. We then choose which leather would be appropriate for the piece were making. All leather is different in weight (oz.), texture and function. We always use high end garment leathers like; elk, deer, buffalo and some bull hide for certain creations.

The lace starts out as a 6 inch circle and is hand cut to the appropriate width for the piece. After the lace is cut, patterns are cut and we create our piece! All of our leather work is handmade, cut, laced and designed by us.

Here's a few samples of some of our custom orders these past few months;

Elk skin book cover...

Deer hide leather cuffs...

Elk hide purse...

We love being able to create that one of a kind piece your looking for. Thanks to our Etsy customers!
